Agamudaya Mudaliar is a social group from the Agamudayar caste in the Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.[1]

Agamudayars migrated from the Southern districts of Tamil Nadu many centuries ago and mixed on a large scale with Vellalars of North Tamil Nadu, Thuluva Vellalar who had migrated to Thondaimandalam from Srisailam, Tulu Nadu. Agamudayars have been using the title of Mudaliar since 13th century
